What is embarkation day like?

At embarkation day you check in at the port, go through security, and board the ship. Your luggage is delivered to your stateroom.

What’s the difference between embarkation and disembarkation ?

What is a shore excursion ?

A shore excursion are Organized tours, like city sightseeing, snorkeling, or cultural visits, booked through the cruise line or independent providers.

What is a sea day

A sea day is a day spent entirely on the ship while traveling between destinations. Activities and entertainment are usually offered onboard.

What’s the difference between an inside cabin , oceanview , balcony , and suite ?
Are cruises all-inclusive ?

all-inclusive: Most include meals, standard drinks, and entertainment, but extras like alcohol, specialty dining, internet, and excursions may cost more.

What is a muster drill ?

A muster drill is a safety briefing held before departure. Attendance is mandatory for all passengers.

What is onboard credit OBC?

onboard credit is Free spending money provided by the cruise line, often as a booking incentive. It can be used for drinks, spa, shops, or shore excursions.

Do I need to pay gratuities

Yes., you have to pay pay gratuities. Most cruise lines add daily service charges to your onboard account. You can sometimes prepay them.

What is a tender boat ?

A tender boat, is a smaller vessel used to transport passengers to shore when the ship cannot dock directly at the pier.

Do I need travel insurance for a cruise?
